Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the Rally Conventions app or visiting rallyconventions.com ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Rally Conventions LLC ("Rally," "we," "us").

2. What Rally is

Rally is a social app for fan convention attendees. It lets you browse convention schedules, connect with friends, post fan meetups (Rallies), send direct messages, and discover conventions. Some features require a free account. Paid features are available as optional upgrades per convention.

3. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your password confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate information when you sign up

You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any convention
• Spam, phish, or attempt to manipulate other users
• Attempt to access or interfere with Rally's systems or other users' accounts
• Use Rally to collect or harvest personal data about other users without their consent
• Use Rally for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion, without notice.

5. User content

You own the content you post on Rally (profile information, Rally posts, messages). By posting, you grant Rally a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the Service for the purpose of operating Rally.

All Rally posts go through automated moderation before becoming publicly visible. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or our community standards, without notice.

6. Convention data

Some convention schedules and information on Rally are sourced from publicly available data and are labeled "Community Data." This data is not officially provided by the convention and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Officially affiliated conventions are managed directly by their organizers through our portal.

7. Paid features

Certain features require a one-time purchase per convention. All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law. Prices are displayed before purchase. Features tied to a specific convention are active only during that convention's dates.

8. Intellectual property

Rally, its logo, and all original content created by Rally Conventions LLC are our property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without our written permission. Convention names, logos, and schedules belong to their respective owners.

9. Disclaimers

Rally is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that convention information will always be accurate or up to date. Use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rally Conventions LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $10, whichever is greater.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Georgia.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email. Continued use of Rally after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
